Why is it that songs about the summer seem to be more popular than any other season? Well, I'm not a philosopher, so I guess that question will go unanswered. So for the moment, here is the latest single from Irish singer-songwriter Paul Melia.
"Summer in the Sand" is the kind of unashamably pop songs that The Feeling used to churn out on a regular basis, mixed with Bloc Party-esque guitar on the chorus. It's also lovely to hear the Gershwins name-dropped as well.
Paul Melia seems to have a knack for producing fun, uncynical, enjoyable pop music, and long may it continue.
